Beschrijving
Zoon van de smid en schaatsenmaker Edze Westra uit Hurdegaryp. In 1894 is Hendrik smidsknecht in Amersfoort. Later neemt hij de smederij van zijn vader over en maakt onder eigen naam in klein aantal schaatsen.
