Beschrijving
Zoon van Linnes Werner (1834), die landbouwer is in Deil. Jan Werner wordt smid in Deil. Hij is eerst smidsknecht in Buren (1894) en komt in april 1895 naar Deil. Daar maakt hij tot circa 1925 krulschaatsen, meestal op bestelling van dorpsgenoten.
